Welcome to PupMont!

A LUXURY LEVEL OF CARE IN THE COMFORT OF A REAL HOME

At PupMont, luxury isn’t about marble floors or fancy suites. It’s about how your dog is cared for. Our boutique, in-home setting is intentionally small, with two retired full-time caregivers and typically just three pup guests. That gives us the time to get to know each dog and provide an exceptional level of attention, affection, and individualized care.

Days at PupMont are filled with the kinds of little things dogs love: sniffari walks, snuffle mats, puzzle toys, lick mats with a variety of dog-safe treats, bubbles to chase, and lazy afternoons lounging with us in the front yard. We send detailed updates and beautiful photos so you can see how your dog is doing, and every evening winds down with our nightly tuck-in routine: soft talk, belly rubs, and a little extra one-on-one attention as they settle into a cozy memory foam bed for the night.

Our goal is simple: your dog's stay should be as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, so you can fully relax, knowing they're loved and cared for in a place where they can feel like part of the family.

What We Offer

SMALL GROUP CARE - LICENSED AND INSURED - 7 MILES FROM SFO

Our lifestyle allows us to provide consistent, around-the-clock care in our home. We plan carefully so dogs are not left alone for more than four hours. Most of the time, at least one of us is home. Our professional credentials mean that we are reliable and prepared.

Real Home Environment

Three small dogs, a couple of Yorkies and a Chihuahua, sit on a white leather couch in PupMont's living room.

PupMont offers a small-scale, crate-free alternative to traditional dog boarding for dogs who are more comfortable in a real home than in a busy boarding facility. Our pup guests live alongside us, with plenty of room to relax, play, explore the yard, and settle into the rhythm of everyday home life.

Our dog-friendly home includes fenced front and back yards, grassy lawns, play areas, and a roomy patio. Indoors, dogs are free to make themselves at home. Crates are never required, though they’re always welcome if your pup finds comfort in one.

High-Touch Round-the-Clock Care

Jade, owner and care-giver of PupMont, holds an adorable small Maltese/Shih-tzu dog in her arms.

No scheduled cuddle sessions or add-on fees here. Plenty of cuddles, snuggles, and lap time flow naturally throughout the day, the way it would in any family home.

Clean filtered air, soft white noise, and nightly tuck-ins help them relax and feel secure.

Structured Walks, Playtime and Dog-Friendly Hikes

THE PERFECT AMOUNT OF EXERCISE AND FUN

Our pup guests receive daily structured walks (typically 20 to 30 minutes), along with additional shorter outings and yard time throughout the day. Each walk is tailored to your dog’s age, health, and energy level. Our walks often take us to our neighborhood park, where dogs can enjoy a stroll around the park or, if they are social and comfortable, play in the enclosed dog park. Dog park visits are always optional. For dogs with higher energy levels, we occasionally enjoy longer adventures on nearby dog-friendly hiking trails.

All-Inclusive Daily Enrichment Activities

Plenty of enrichment activities are built directly into the core daily routine for every PupMont guest at no additional cost.

We provide fun, stimulating experiences throughout the day:  scavenger hunts in the yard, delicious frozen lick mats, snuffle mats, sensory and scent games, leisurely sniffari walks, and puzzle toys to keep curious minds engaged. Dogs who are a good fit may join us on local hikes and walks.

"The activities they provided were beyond anything I expected: enrichment games, invigorating hikes, and daily trips to the dog park kept Scarlett engaged and active."

"Hi Gary,

How are you doing? Jeff took the pups for a walk to the park this afternoon, and they’ve been really enjoying the mild spring weather we’ve been having. Albie and Scarlett are getting more comfortable with each other, and today they really let loose. I haven’t seen them play together with such reckless abandon before. They were chasing each other around the yard and play-fighting until they were completely exhausted. Lots of exercise and clearly having a great time.

Albie is such a well-adjusted, confident, and goofy dog. Exactly the kind we love having here. Hope you’re enjoying your trip!

Warmly,

Jade"

For their safety, pup guests are always separated during mealtimes.
